We are very close with our immediate family members and spend as much time with them as we can. Tracy has a twin brother and an older sister, and Michael has a younger brother. We also have a nine-year-old nephew whom our daughter Lyla loves to spend time with! Most of our immediate family lives within close driving distance, and we enjoy many activities together, such as our annual ski trip, birthday parties, family vacations, and attending concerts and cultural festivals.
Our family members are just as excited as we are about welcoming a new child into the family and frequently ask when they will have a new baby to shower with gifts! Both of us also have extended family, including aunts, uncles, and cousins, whom we see occasionally throughout the year at family gatherings and during the holidays.
